Overview
The general perception of professionalism has changed over time, and the way it is defined measured and demonstrated will no doubt continue to evolve. But what do you understand by the term ‘professionalism’.
Join Dr Stephen Henderson as he discusses various aspects of modern professionalism. The webinar will investigate behaviour which can pose risks to both patients and dentists, appropriate interactions over social media, and the importance of maintaining high standards in both private and professional life.
Suitable for the whole practice team, this one-hour webinar will examine what constitutes professional behaviour, looking at models of behaviour and the importance of insight, being honest, and self-awareness when learning from mistakes.
With an opportunity for real time questions and answers during the broadcast, this is the ideal way to have the expertise of Dental Protection brought directly to you.
Webinar objectives:
- To increase your awareness of the public’s expectations of a dental professional in the UK.
- To teach you how to apply and disseminate this information within your own area of practice and to your team.
- To help you understand the impact of personal misconduct upon a dental professional’s registration.
- To encourage you to consider areas for professional development, such as self-awareness, learning from mistakes, receiving appropriate training, keeping up-to-date, and following GDC social media guidance.
