Following the resounding success of last year’s Horizons road show, Dental Protection is pleased to announce a new event which will visit three cities this October. The new road show is entitled ‘Three Steps to Heaven’.
This ticket-only event will be presented by DPL’s Sue Boynton and Stephen Henderson who will provide a practical look at topics which are relevant to all members of the dental team, including dental nurses and practice managers. The tour will visit Cork, Galway and Dublin in October 2012.
There is a common misunderstanding that risk management is a tedious chore that is much too complicated and takes far too much time. Sue Boynton and Stephen Henderson will present material designed to make you think again, providing lots of useful, practical advice and hot tips that can save you time as well as keeping you safer from all kinds of dento-legal threats and challenges.
Kevin Lewis, Director of Dental Protection, said, 'There is a lot that clinicians can do to protect themselves against complaints and litigation and Dental Protection is rewarding dentists who participate in qualifying risk management activity by awarding RiskCredits which can be used to reduce their subscriptions for the following membership year. Each Horizons seminar will provide three Risk Credits which makes these events particularly valuable to members in Ireland. DPL has now waived the registration fee normally charged for this event so that every member has an opportunity to reduce their subscription next year.'
In addition the evening will provide delegates with the chance to meet some of the Dental Protection advisory team face to face and the opportunity to explore the full range of other benefits available to members.
The road show is suitable for all members of the dental team and is free of charge! So why not to bring the whole practice?
Dental Protection expects a heavy demand for tickets so members are advised to book early in order to avoid disappointment. For more information or to book tickets, email [email protected]
