The Spotlight on Risk conference is designed to provide high-quality content for all dental and oral care professionals, including students and graduates, allowing participants to stay on top of evolving dentolegal and ethical issues.
- How many CPD/CPE points will be available for the conference?
CPD/CPE learning points have been applied to the conference – we'll update this information shortly.
- What topics will be covered at the conference?
This year’s conference will focus on social media, case scenarios in dentistry, burnout/resilience.
- Can I invite my friends to attend the event?
Absolutely. You can share details of the event by clicking here, which will allow others to register at their convenience.
- I haven’t received a joining link for the conference, who should I contact?
Joining instructions for the conference will be sent to you once you have registered via the booking page. Please check your junk/spam mailbox and double check that you have entered your email correctly.
- How do I join on the day of the event?
As soon you have registered, you will receive an email with a link. Click “Add to Calendar” so you won’t miss the conference. On the day, just click on the link that is in your calendar invite and enjoy the conference. This link is unique for you, please don’t share it with others.
- Do I need to download or install any software to be able to attend this event?
No. You do not need to download or install any software to join the conference. You only need to have access to the internet.
- How can I ask questions during the conference?
Open the Q&A window on the virtual event window and type any questions you have for the host and panellists. They can either reply to you via text in the Q&A window or answer your question live.
- Will there be any networking sessions?
Yes, the conference will include social and networking opportunities throughout the event.
- Is a live transcript available during the conference?
Yes, this will allow participants to easily follow the conversations or to meet accessibility requirements.
- Will I be able to download the presentations after the conference?
The presentations won’t be available to download, but you can watch the conference back online whenever you want to.
This is because any presentations shown at the event have been produced by the individual speakers, and are therefore not owned by, and do not necessarily represent the views of, Dental Protection.
- Will I get a certificate of attendance?
Member:
If you attended the entire conference, a certificate of attendance will be available on our online learning hub from 02 October 2023. You'll enroll and then you will be able download the certificate by answering the feedback survey.
Non-member:
If you attended the entire conference, a certificate of attendance will be issued by email from 09 October 2023.
- I missed the digital conference. Is there an option to watch on demand?

When finished, you can download your certificate on the “certificate tab” by answering the feedback survey.
Non-member:
